On January 12th at 10:49pm William Henry Thoele made us a family of three. He stole our hearts with every bit of his 4lbs. 8ozs.!
Mom & dad checked into Little Company of Mary Hospital in Torrance at 4:00pm. Labor was induced at about 5:30pm (due to decelerations in his heartrate).
Grandma & Grandpa Dohn arrived at the hospital around 9pm after speeding through the State of California to be there for the birth of their first grandchild.
William and mom had to stay a couple extra days at the hospital to treat his jaundice but otherwise both left the hospital healthy and happy.
Dad was amazing through the entire event. He took care of mom throughout the pregnancy, stayed by her side during labor and delivery and continues to go beyond expectations to take care of his family now that they are home. He is the best daddy ever!
